Dean Northcutt has over 30 years of work experience in the energy industry. Dean started their career as an Operations Engineer at Aminoil, Inc., where they managed offshore properties and was responsible for well optimization, drilling program evaluation, reservoir studies, and managing reserves.

Dean then worked at Amoco Production Company as an Operations Engineer and Senior Measurement Technologist. In this role, they were responsible for optimizing West Texas properties, waterflood management, reservoir evaluations, and served as a part of the corporate measurement steering committee.

Dean then moved on to Altura Energy as an IT Consultant, where they provided support for gas measurement and accounting systems. Dean also designed and developed an internal system for managing gas plant operating procedures and test requirements.

At Oxy, Dean worked as an IT Consultant and managed various IT projects and applications for gas measurement, pipeline, field, and plant operations. Dean played a significant role in the development of a pipeline nomination application, as well as transitioning external systems during pipeline acquisitions.

Dean then joined Agave Energy Company as a Manager of Measurement & Technology. Dean was responsible for daily measurement and SCADA operations, data reporting, audit compliance, and managing technical data systems. Dean also provided expertise in accounting and mentored system support personnel.

Currently, Dean is working at EQT Midstream as a Senior Manager of IT (ICS). In this role, they are responsible for the Industrial Control Systems (ICS) environment, including support, operations, security, network infrastructure, policies, and new technologies. Dean also leads a team of analysts and architects and contributes to strategic planning, budgeting, and company vision.

Dean Northcutt has a comprehensive education history. Dean attended Texas Tech University from 1978 to 1982, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering. Following this, from 1982 to 1983, they pursued graduate courses toward a Masters of Business Administration with a specialization in Oil and Gas Accounting at the same institution. Additionally, Dean Northcutt has obtained certifications in Coaching and Developing Employees and Having Career Conversations with Your Team from LinkedIn, completing these courses in October 2022 and March 2022, respectively.
