Phing Lee began their work experience as a Systems Administrator at Austock in June 2003. Phing then moved up to become an Infrastructure Manager in January 2007 and eventually took on the role of IT Manager in April 2009. In 2012, Phing joined Equity Trustees as the Senior Manager of Technology Services, and in June 2014, they were promoted to General Manager of Technology Services. In December 2016, they became the Chief Technology Officer at Equity Trustees, taking on overall responsibilities for all aspects of IT and project management office (PMO) responsibilities. Phing's role includes developing a client-centric Digital Strategy and establishing an innovation agenda, along with stewardship of IT architecture and roadmaps, cyber security, IT governance & compliance, and overall IT operations.
Phing Lee obtained a Certificate in New Ventures Leadership from MIT Bootcamps in 2019. The program focused on MIT Innovation & Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and took place in Brisbane. Prior to that, Phing Lee attended The University of Western Australia from 1998 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
