Erika Schwarz Taylor has a diverse work experience. In 2016, they were a Visiting Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences at St. Edward's University. In 2017, they became a Co-Founder and scientific advisor at Environmental Quality Operations. From 2020 to 2022, they held the role of Assistant Professor of Biological Sciences and Bioinformatics at St. Mary's University. Erika Schwarz Taylor has a diverse educational background, beginning with a BS in Biology from the University of North Carolina Wilmington, obtained between 2007 and 2009. Afterward, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Genome Sciences/Genomics at The University of Texas at Austin, which they completed in 2016. Most recently, they are currently enrolled in a Master of Jurisprudence in Business Ethics, Compliance, and Risk at St. Mary's University School of Law, which they expect to complete in 2022. In addition, they obtained an eDiscovery Technology Certification from the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS) and NSLT in September 2021.
