Gerard Walker serves as the General Manager of EQ Kuala Lumpur since May 2022, overseeing the newly redeveloped 52-story hotel featuring 440 guestrooms, six food and beverage venues, and a 1,025 sqm Diamond Ballroom. Prior to this role, Gerard Walker held prominent positions at Resorts World Genting from November 2015 to April 2022, including Senior Vice President of Hospitality and Vice President of Hotel Operations & Food and Beverage, managing 11,200 guest rooms across nine properties and 62 F&B concepts. Earlier experience includes a series of Director positions at Hilton from May 2008 to November 2015, spanning operations and food and beverage management at multiple 5-star locations, including Hilton Kuala Lumpur, Hilton Pattaya, and Hilton Hanoi Opera.
