Kasim Zafar, CFA, currently serves as Chief Investment Officer and Chief Investment Strategist at EQ Investors since October 2014, overseeing asset allocation and portfolio strategy research. Zafar has extensive experience as an investment manager, including managing Best Ideas Model Portfolios and supporting fund selection research across various asset classes. Previously, Zafar was a Portfolio Manager and Senior Investment Analyst at Truestone Asset Management, where responsibilities included designing an institutional investment process for a GBP500m AUM firm. Prior roles include co-leading the establishment of a UK branch for Altigefi SA and serving as a Senior Investment Analyst at Integrated Alternative Investments, contributing to significant growth in assets under management. Zafar holds a BSc (Hons) in Physics from Imperial College London.
