Owen Roodenburg is an accomplished healthcare professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Academic and Medical Services and Chief Medical Officer at Epworth since January 2024. Owen also holds academic positions as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor and Adjunct Clinical Senior Lecturer at Monash University since June 2010. Prior to their current role, Owen was the Director of Intensive Care Services at Eastern Health from February 2017 to January 2024 and held various leadership positions at Alfred Health, including Deputy Director ICU and Intensivist, from January 2010 to February 2017. Owen began their career as an Intensivist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital from July 2007 to January 2010. Owen’s educational background includes a GAICD from the Australian Institute of Company Directors (2023), completion of high performance leadership and negotiation programs at the University of Oxford (2021, 2017), and a Graduate Certificate in Health Systems Management from Melbourne Business School (2011).
