Scott Buetow has over 15 years of work experience in the software engineering and systems engineering fields. Scott began their career in 2006 as a Senior Software Engineer at BAE Systems, where they served as Software Lead for a DO-178B level A fly-by-wire FCC. In 2011, they joined Qualcomm as a Senior RF Software Engineer, where they were responsible for releasing packages across software branches to multiple internal teams. In 2012, they returned to BAE Systems as a Senior Principal Systems Engineer, where they served as Integrated Product Team Lead (IPTL) for three unique programs. In 2019, they joined Raytheon as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, where they were a C++ developer of unsupervised machine learning algorithms to counter adaptive Electronic Warfare threats and developed algorithms for unmanned autonomous systems. In the same year, they also joined Epirus as Director of Software Engineering and held prior roles as Senior Principal Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineering Manager. In 2022, they joined Epsilon3 as a Software Engineer.
Scott Buetow obtained a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Michigan Technological University. Scott then went on to receive a Master of Science in Computer Science from Binghamton University. In 2018, they completed a Foundations of Data Science course from the University of California, Berkeley. In 2017, they earned a Continued Education Units (CEUs) Certificate in Architecture of Complex Systems from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
