Ekru Türkmen is a Bioengineer at Episome Biotechnologies since December 2021, after completing a research internship at Marmara Üniversitesi in August 2019 focused on the effects of chemicals on the endocrine system. During the internship, Ekru Türkmen gained valuable experience in laboratory practices, including preparation of nutrient agar and broth, cryopreservation, yeast cultivation, and operation of various laboratory equipment such as refrigerated centrifuges and spectrophotometers. Ekru Türkmen holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Genetics and Bioengineering from Istanbul Bilgi University, completed in 2021.
