Donald Wong has worked in various roles for four companies over the past 13 years. In 2020, they joined Episode Six as Lead Solutions Architect-Japan, Solutions Architect, and Client Success Manager. Prior to this, from 2017 to 2020, Wong worked at TIS Inc. as Section Chief/System Architect/Consultant, where they were responsible for the standardization team leader of the front-end system for issuer processing ASP service and the management of several issuer's enhancement projects of issuer processing system. From 2011 to 2017, Wong was employed at Beyondsoft, first as Project Manager/System Engineer, where they were responsible for the management of onsite development process, management of offshore manufacturing process, and providing support for proposal and requirements definition. Donald then was promoted to Project Leader/Software Engineer, where they were responsible for the management of offshore manufacturing process, creating external design and internal design for payment web-api distributed system, and participating in integration test and system test. Finally, from 2007 to 2011, Wong worked at Hitachi as Project Leader/Software Engineer, where they were responsible for creating a detailed design by the basic design, programming and unit testing on several software development projects and system development projects, and participating in integration test and system test.
Donald Wong obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Communication Engineering from the University of Science and Technology Beijing between 2003 and 2007. Donald also obtained a Software Design Engineer Qualification Certificate of Computer and Software Technology Proficiency from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, PRC in December 2008. In December 2007, they obtained a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test Level 2 from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. In July 2015, they obtained a Japanese-Language Proficiency Test N1 from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services. Lastly, in July 2017, they obtained a TOEIC with 865 points from the Educational Testing Service.
