Tegg Sung is a Senior Research Engineer at EpiSci, where responsibilities include co-leading neural combinatorial optimization research in various domains, architecting novel communication formulations, and participating in AI-based UAV flight coordination. Tegg has contributed to multiple research grant proposals and has previously served as a research scientist, architecting a neural chip scheduler utilizing deep reinforcement learning. Tegg's early experience includes a role as a Machine Learning Engineer at Reinforcement Learning Korea User Group, participation in a prestigious Deep Learning Camp hosted by Google, and a position as a course assistant at Kwangwoon University. Tegg holds concurrent Master's and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering, as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Kwangwoon University. Prior military service includes tenure as a combat medic in the Republic of Korea Air Force.
