Schalk Liebenberg is an experienced professional in the mining and geoscience sectors, currently serving as a Business Development Engineer at Epiroc since June 2024. Prior to this role, Schalk spent over a decade at MineRP in various key positions, including Sales Executive and Director of Spatial Data Infrastructure, contributing to the company's growth and providing integration solutions for mining operations. Additional experience includes roles at InfoMine, RungePincockMinarco, MRM Mining Services, Taung Gold Limited, BHP Billiton, AngloGold Ashanti, and ISCOR Limited. Schalk holds a GDE in Mineral Resource Management from the University of the Witwatersrand and a B.Sc. Hons in Geochemistry from Stellenbosch University.
