Nathan Smith serves as the VP & General Counsel at Epiq Solutions since January 2023, focusing on legal affairs for a company specializing in small form factor solutions for military and commercial applications. Prior to this role, Nathan was the VP, General Counsel & Secretary at Abaco Systems, Inc., overseeing legal matters for a global leader in embedded computing until its acquisition by AMETEK, Inc. Nathan's earlier experience includes significant positions at GE Intelligent Platforms, handling legal affairs for advanced technology sectors, and providing support for strategic M&A activities at GE Fanuc Automation. Nathan began their career as an Associate Attorney at McGuireWoods LLP. Nathan holds a JD from the University of Virginia School of Law and a B.A. with Distinction in Economics from James Madison University.
