Edgar Garcia is an experienced manufacturing and engineering professional with a diverse background in plant management, project management, and mechanical design. Currently serving as Plant Manager at Les Industries Braidwood Ltée. since August 2020, Edgar's previous roles include Manufacturing Project Manager at Proceco Ltd., Mechanical Designer at Bousquet Technologies, Operations Manager at Crisma Ltd., Production Manager at POSTOBON S.A., and Production Planning Manager at Super de Alimentos. Edgar holds multiple advanced degrees, including a Master's degree in Value-added Production and a Master's degree in Automated Production Engineering from Polytechnique Montréal and École de technologie supérieure, respectively, along with a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia and a Certificate in Building Systems from Polytechnique Montréal. Additionally, Edgar has an AEC in Computer Numerical Control Programming from Cégep de Saint-Laurent.
