Willie Castro is a highly skilled 2D animator with extensive experience in animation, character design, and background design across various media platforms. Currently working at Epipheo since September 2016, Willie has contributed to numerous explainer videos on a freelance basis. Previous roles include 2D animation for ShadowMachine on Clone High, a full-time position at Bento Box Entertainment LLC animating TV series for Apple TV and Netflix, and character and background design for educational content at Vista Higher Learning. Willie's diverse skill set is further demonstrated through freelance work for Animatics & Storyboards, Inc., GeoWhiz, and MightyPants Media, along with a brief stint as an illustrator for IXL Learning. Educational background includes training at Robert Heath Productions and coursework at USF and Hillsborough Community College.
