Roman Davydov has a diverse range of work experience in the software engineering field. From 1998 to 2000, they worked at Startek as a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented client-server software for accounting. From 2000 to 2001, they worked at JSC InfoTeCS as a Software Engineer, participating in the development of ViPNet™, a software for configuring and controlling VPNs. From 2001 to 2007, they worked at SeeStorm (a subsidiary of Spirit DSP), initially as a Software Engineer, and then as a Senior Software Engineer, leading a team in building an SDK for generating synthetic video. From 2007 to 2011, they were a Software Engineering Lead at SPIRIT DSP, leading a team in building a high-performance videoconferencing engine. Since 2011, they have been self-employed as a System Architect and Software Engineer, building software tools for professional online poker players. At Epiphan Video, they worked as the Head of Research and Development and as a Software Engineering Lead, leading teams in firmware development and maintaining and adding functionality to video encoders. Overall, Roman Davydov has demonstrated leadership, technical expertise, and project management skills throughout their career in various software engineering roles.
Roman Davydov obtained their Master of Science degree in Computer Science from the Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics (MTUCI) between 1995 and 2001. Roman also holds a certification as a Certified Scrum Master, which they obtained from the Scrum Alliance in July 2016.
