Dan Ariely is the James B Duke Professor of Behavioral Economics at Duke University, where involvement extends across multiple departments, including the Fuqua School of Business, the Center for Cognitive Neuroscience, the Department of Economics, and the School of Medicine. As a co-founder and partner at Irrational Capital, Ariely focuses on integrating behavioral science with financial analysis to enhance investment strategies. Other entrepreneurial endeavors include co-founding BEworks, which applies behavioral economics to real-world challenges, Shapa Health, aimed at promoting healthy behaviors, and Epilog, dedicated to improving life's final stages. Additionally, Ariely directs the Center for Advanced Hindsight and holds a co-founder role in various organizations, including The Medical Professionalism Project and Dan Ariely's Irrational Game.
