Vishnu U. Sunitha Kumary has work experience as a Postdoctoral Scientist at New England Biolabs from October 2018 to January 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Research Scientist II at EpiCypher, Inc. starting from January 2022.

Vishnu U. Sunitha Kumary completed their Bachelor's degree in Biosciences at Sri Sathya Sai Institute of Higher Learning from 2007 to 2010. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Bioinformatics at CMS College of Science and Commerce, Coimbatore from 2010 to 2012. Vishnu then went on to obtain a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Microbiology from Madurai Kamaraj University, completing their studies from 2013 to 2018.
