Heather Farber

Managing Director, Marketing at Epic Research

Heather Farber is the Managing Director of Marketing at Epic Research. Heather has over fifteen years of experience in marketing and executive leadership roles.

Heather began their career as an Assistant Marketing Manager at TV Guide, where they oversaw the advertising campaigns for the magazine. After three years, they transitioned to MBNA, where they served as the First Vice President of Market Development. In this role, Heather was responsible for developing and executing marketing plans to increase brand awareness and grow market share.

After eight years at MBNA, Heather joined Barclaycard as the Group Director of Marketing. In this role, they oversaw the marketing strategy for Barclaycard's credit card products. After five years at Barclaycard, Heather left to join NRG Energy as the Senior Director of Communications and Affinity Partnerships. In this role, Heather was responsible for leading the team that managed NRG's brand communications and partnerships with other companies.

In 2014, Heather was promoted to Managing Director of NRG Retail Northeast. In this role, they had P&L responsibility for NRG's retail business in the East region. In 2016, Heather left NRG to join WePAC as the Executive Director. WePAC is a Philadelphia-based nonprofit that operates volunteer-run libraries in public schools. As Executive Director, Heather oversees the administration, programs, and strategic plans for the organization.

In 2018, Heather returned to the corporate world when they joined Epic Research as the Managing Director of Marketing. In this role, Heather is responsible for leading Epic Research's marketing team and developing marketing strategies to promote the company's products and services.

Heather Farber has a BA in Advertising and a minor in Economics from Penn State University, as well as an MBA in Management from the same school.
