Shannon Mingal is the Associate Director of Digital Marketing at Epic Records. Shannon has been with Epic Records for 8 years and 3 months, starting as a Marketing Coordinator and working their way up to Director of Digital Marketing. In their current role, Shannon develops and executes online marketing and advertising campaigns, content roll-out plans, and social media strategies for major artist releases and developing acts. Shannon also closely monitors and analyzes artists’ online activity each week and plans strategic activations to improve social media growth and engagement. Shannon has built and maintained professional relationships with key partners and artist management to create compelling campaigns and elevate artists’ online presence. Shannon has also planned and executed major industry-wide events for partners and press for major artists, as well as completed numerous single and album marketing plans for various artists by closely collaborating with all Epic departments. Prior to their work at Epic Records, Shannon was a Public Relations Assistant at Coach, where they assisted the Digital and Men’s public relations managers with daily tasks such as sample traffic, contact lists, editor gifting, press clipping, managing contracts and invoices. Shannon also coordinated product and prep material for major events such as The Sundance Film Festival 2014 and Coach’s first Fashion Presentation for New York Fashion Week.
Shannon Mingal attended the State University of New York at Albany, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and Media Studies, with minors in Music and Sociology. Shannon was active in Alpha Epsilon Phi and the University Chorale while they were a student there. In 2012, Shannon participated in a summer program at Universidad Antonio de Nebrija in Spain, where they studied International/Global Studies, Spanish, and Spanish Art Theirtory.
