Wataru Ikeda is an accomplished visual effects professional with extensive experience in the gaming industry. Currently serving as a Senior Technical VFX Artist at Epic Games, Wataru has previously held prominent roles at Naughty Dog, including Senior VFX Artist and Visual Effects Artist, as well as a VFX Artist at DICE. Wataru's career also includes significant positions at Capcom as a VFX Technical Artist and Lead VFX Artist, alongside freelance work as a CG Artist. Wataru Ikeda holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Visual Information Design from Osaka University of Arts, obtained in 1999.
