Youcef Sahraoui is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in auction algorithms, research, and operations consulting. Currently serving as an Auction Algorithm Engineer at EPEX SPOT since 2018, Youcef previously worked as a Research Engineer at EDF R&D from 2013 to 2016, where PhD research was conducted to optimize the scheduling of hydropower plants. Prior roles include a Supply Chain Intern at Louis Vuitton and a consulting project on operations at Perrigo in partnership with Columbia University. Youcef holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics and Computer Science from École Polytechnique, an MSc in Operations Research from Columbia Engineering, and an engineering degree from CentraleSupélec.
