Dean Beaumont is an experienced professional in military training and bomb disposal, currently serving as the Manager of MILTECS (Military Training, Evaluation, Certification & Systems Assurance) Facilities at EPE since September 2021. Prior to this role, Dean worked as a Course Facilitator for the Queensland Government from October 2015 to September 2021. Dean's expertise in bomb search planning was demonstrated during the Commonwealth Games 2018 and the G20 Brisbane event, where Dean coordinated bomb search operations with the Queensland Police Service. Dean's career began in the Australian Defence Force as a Combat Engineer from 1983 to 1999, and continued with various positions in the Queensland Government and Police Service until 2018.
