Lars Sönnerlid is an experienced IT executive with a strong background in the banking and technology sectors. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at EP Bank since August 2017, Lars oversees IT operations, security, and strategy for a team of approximately 130 employees, managing a mixed environment of IaaS, SaaS, and PaaS. Prior to this role, Lars held various positions at East Capital from August 2008 to August 2017, including CIO, CTO, and Head of Business Applications, where responsibilities included IT and business intelligence management, project oversight, and vendor relationships. Lars also contributed to Microsoft from March 2000 to August 2008 as Program Manager for Xbox Europe and Principal Consultant focusing on telecom clients. Additionally, Lars worked at WM-data from 1997 to 2000 as a Senior Consultant specializing in e-commerce and mobile application development. Lars holds a B.Sc in Business Administration and Information Technology from Gotland University.
