Charles Sheppard is a seasoned exploration executive with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry. Currently serving as Senior Vice President of Exploration at EOG Resources since November 2011, Charles has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Executive Exploration and Denver Division Exploration Manager, where responsibilities included leading teams of "oil finders" across the Western US and Mid Continent. Prior experience includes contributions to the US National Petroleum Council and roles at Hess Corporation focusing on global conventional and unconventional resources, as well as exploration leadership positions at ExxonMobil and Mobil. Charles holds a Master of Science in Geology and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Stony Brook University.
