Mike Bridgett has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Mike started out as a Business Development Manager at Willow Group Ltd, where they focused on building channels and revenue streams in overseas markets. Mike then worked as a Technical Account Manager at AT&T NetVault, developing relationships and driving revenue growth.

After that, Bridgett joined Legato Systems as a Senior Sales Consultant before moving to BakBone Software, where they served as the Director of OEM Sales and Major Accounts and later as the General Manager in Oceania. At BakBone Software, they were responsible for growing the company's footprint in the region and managing local P&L.

Subsequently, Bridgett worked at Atempo as a Country Manager, where they established a strong local presence in Australia and New Zealand and developed sales channels. Mike then co-founded DataEdge software, a reseller business, where they oversaw all sales operations and built strong relationships with vendors and clients.

Bridgett's experience also includes working at Xyratex as a Software Engineering Manager, where they introduced software discipline into a hardware-driven organization and drove the adoption of Agile methodologies. Mike then joined Seagate Technology as a Senior Software Engineering Manager, responsible for the development and support of embedded software.

Most recently, Bridgett has been working at Smoothwall, initially as the Head of Software Engineering and later as the Director of Engineering. Mike was instrumental in evolving the technology and product portfolio and growing the global engineering team. In 2023, Bridgett will be starting a new role as the Head of Product & Operations at Envitia.

Mike Bridgett attended Highbury College of Technology from 1981 to 1984, where they obtained an ONC in Electrical & Electronic Engineering. Mike then went on to pursue a HNC in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Digital Electronics from the same institution, which they completed from 1984 to 1986. In 1996, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Educated Choices Consulting.
