Joanne Faysal has extensive work experience in the field of medical writing and scientific direction. Joanne is currently employed as a Scientific Director at Envision Pharma Group since 2023. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2023, they worked as a Scientific Director at MJH Life Sciencesā„¢. Joanne also served as an Associate Medical Director at Physicians' Education ResourceĀ® from 2020 to 2022. Before that, from 2019 to 2020, they worked as a Scientific Director at Rockpointe Corporation. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Freelance Medical Writer at JMF Medicomm. Joanne also gained experience as a Scientific Director, Oncology at Medscape from 2015 to 2016. In addition, they worked as a Medical Writer at Avant Healthcare from 2014 to 2015, an Associate Managing Editor at Clinical Care Options from 2013 to 2014, and as a Scientific Grant Writer/Medical writer at PRIME Education, Inc. (PRIME) from 2008 to 2013. Finally, they started their career as a Research Associate at the University of Miami, Miller School of Medicine from 2002 to 2008.

Joanne Faysal holds a Master's of Science degree in Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology, which they obtained from the University of Miami from 2002 to 2008. Prior to that, from 2000 to 2001, they completed a Certificate program in Medical Technologist in Clinical Chemistry at Florida International University. Joanne also has a Bachelor's of Science degree in Biology from Suffolk University, which they obtained from 1991 to 1994. In addition, they obtained a Certificate in Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) from Northeastern University from 1991 to 1992.

Joanne Faysal also holds a certification in Medical Technologist -- Clinical Chemistry, which they obtained from ASCP in January 2001.
