Maria McGarry is a seasoned professional in the sport management field, currently serving as a Program Manager and previously as an Inside Sales Advisor at WorldStrides since June 2021. Prior experience includes roles at BJ's Restaurants, Inc. as a Server and Trainer from February 2019 to June 2021, and as a Student-Athlete Academic Mentor at the University of Virginia for a brief period in early 2020. Maria has also held various positions in the restaurant and sports sectors, including serving as a Server/Trainer at Vito's Pizza Bar & Grill and internships related to football operations and recruiting at the University of Virginia. Earlier experiences include an Operations Intern role at Virginia Amateur Sports and a Lifeguard position at Wintergreen Resort. Maria McGarry holds a Master’s Degree in Sport Management from Liberty University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Sport Administration with a minor in Management from Radford University.
