Grace Nelson has a diverse work experience in the field of planning and policy. Grace began their career in 2020 as the Administrative Committee Chair at the Berkeley Student Cooperative. In 2021, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the USC Sol Price School of Public Policy. In 2022, Grace interned at the Milken Institute as a 2022 Global Conference Intern and then joined the Governor's Office of Planning and Research (OPR) as a Planning and Policy Intern. Grace is currently employed at Environmental Science Associates as both a Community Planner and an Environmental Planning Intern.
Grace Nelson's education history begins with their high school diploma, which they obtained from C. K. McClatchy High School in 2017. Following this, they pursued higher education at Sacramento City College, where they obtained an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies in 2018. Subsequently, they attended the University of California, Berkeley from 2019 to 2021, completing their Bachelor's degree in Multi/Interdisciplinary Studies. Currently, Grace is enrolled at the University of Southern California, where they are expected to complete their Master of Urban Planning (MUP) and Master of Public Administration (MPA) degrees by 2023.
