Ken Chaplin has extensive experience in operations and emergency response, currently serving as the Director of Operations and Emergency Response at Environmental Management Services, Inc. since June 1995. Prior to this role, Ken held the position of Assistant Fire Chief at the National Institutes of Health from September 1996 to March 2008, where retirement followed. Ken began a career in the fire service at the Naval District of Washington Fire Department, progressing from Firefighter to Captain between September 1985 and October 1996.
