Catherine Ashdown is a Senior Ecologist at Environment Bank since March 2023, focusing on delivering biodiversity net gain through habitat management in northern England. Previously, Catherine worked as an Ecologist at Ecus Ltd from August 2021 to March 2023, where responsibilities included surveying protected species and conducting ecological appraisals. Earlier experience includes roles as a Graduate Ecologist at Venator Materials Plc and Laboratory Technician at Aqua Enviro, along with project management and data quality assurance for ecological surveys at The Ecology Consultancy. Catherine holds a Bachelor of Science in Sustainability and Environmental Management from the University of Leeds, completed in 2018, and has undertaken various positions in research and administration throughout their career.
