Andy Oldewurtel-ilioff has held a variety of roles in the software engineering industry. From 2009 to 2010, they worked as a Software Engineering Intern at NOAA, developing software engineering, database driven web applications using ASP. Net, Javascript, Ajax, SQL, and Google Maps. From 2010 to 2014, they worked at Northrop Grumman Corporation as a Software Engineer and Software Lead, developing real time embedded C++ and Java, control systems, and GUI development, as well as conducting software verification testing. From 2014 to 2015, they were the Founder of New Age Technologies, specializing in custom software solutions geared towards clients with advertising budgets exceeding $5 Million annually. In 2015, they were the Founder of Chargeback Hero, a company that uses propriety software to help recover substantial revenues lost to fraudulent chargebacks to clients, as well as providing first in class reporting. Also in 2015, they worked at Envieta LLC as a Technical Project Manager and Software Security Engineer.
Andy Oldewurtel-ilioff attended McDonogh High School, followed by Bucknell University where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering and Computer Science in 2010. Andy then went on to The Johns Hopkins University, where they earned a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2013.
