Jim K. is a seasoned Senior Mechanical Design Engineer with extensive experience in the design and development of mechanical systems, particularly in the areas of card printers and hard disk drives. Currently at Entrust Datacard since June 2018, Jim focuses on desktop card printer design and plastic injection molding. Previously, Jim spent 17 years at Seagate Technology, where responsibilities included the design of voice-coil magnet assemblies and connectors, as well as providing customer support for connectivity issues. Early career experiences include mechanical design roles at Hoffman Enclosures Inc, specializing in sheet metal enclosures for various industries. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota, graduated in 1996.
