Madhavi W. Chandra, Ph.D has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and industries. Starting in 1994, Madhavi worked as a Research Assistant at The Johns Hopkins University while pursuing their Ph.D. degree in Computer and Electrical Engineering.

After completing their degree, they joined NIST as an Electronics Engineer from August 1998 to March 2000. Madhavi W. then moved on to Cisco Systems, where they held the position of Software Engineer from April 2000 to 2007. Madhavi took on multiple responsibilities at Cisco, including serving as a team lead.

In 2007, Madhavi joined Wake Technical Community College as a Part-time Adjunct Professor until May 2010. Madhavi W. then spent two years as a Team Lead at Research In Motion from October 2010 to October 2012. Following this, Madhavi worked at North Carolina State University as an Adjunct Professor starting in August 2013.

Madhavi currently holds a managerial role at Entrinsik, Inc., where they have been the Director of Product Management since January 2018. Prior to this position, they served as the Software Development Manager from January 2014 to March 2018.

Madhavi W. Chandra, Ph.D has an extensive education history in the field of computer engineering. Madhavi W. pursued their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami, from 1988 to 1991. Following this, they attended The Johns Hopkins University and obtained a Master's degree in Engineering (MEng) from 1991 to 1992. Madhavi continued their studies at The Johns Hopkins University and completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Engineering between 1994 and 1998.
