Shane Yost is an experienced Application Scientist at Iambic Therapeutics since February 2021, previously serving as an Assistant Professor at Texas State University from July 2017 to February 2021. Prior to this, Shane held the position of Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, focusing on the development of new methods for excited states in highly correlated systems from August 2013 to June 2017. Shane completed a Ph.D. in Physical Chemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2013, where extensive research included modeling organic photovoltaic devices and developing a multi-reference perturbation theory method. Earlier academic experience includes tutoring general chemistry at UC Santa Barbara while earning a B.S. in Chemistry from the same institution between 2005 and 2008.
