Saikat Banik has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and companies. Currently, they are the Strategic Account Lead for BFSI at EDB, where they manage the south and west BFSI business for EDB postgres database. Saikat Banik pursued a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering at the National Institute of Technology Agartala. Saikat later completed a Master of Business Administration in Marketing at the National Institute of Management Technology (NIMT). Saikat also obtained various certifications, including EDB certified PostgreSQL Foundation from EDB in 2024, DDOS for Networks, Imperva Data Security, and WAF and API Security from Imperva in 2022. Saikat received the Netskope Cloud Security Sales Associate (NCSA) certification from Netskope in 2021. Saikat also obtained certifications in networking, security, ethical hacking, and various other professional skills from institutions such as LinkedIn and Simplilearn. In addition, they acquired partner accreditations from Check Point Software Technologies Ltd and SentinelOne.
