Vincent Verbeque currently serves as a Chercheur Associé at ENSTA Bretagne since June 2023 and operates as an auto-entrepreneur at Virabelo, focusing on drone studies and measurements. Prior to these roles, Vincent held the position of Directeur R&T SW at Thales Defence Mission Systems from January 2013 to January 2023 and worked at Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique as a Chargé de mission from January 2013 to December 2016. Vincent's extensive career at THALES, spanning from June 1990 to January 2013, included the role of Architecte de systèmes de surveillance maritime. Earlier experience includes engineering at TNI Brest and service with the Marine Nationale as a Guetteur sémaphorique. Vincent began a career in academia as a Contractuel at Université de Bretagne Occidentale after completing education at Paris-Sud University with a Licence de Physique, among other qualifications in telepiloting and engineering.
