Mohamad Yassin is a seasoned Project Manager specializing in AI/ML Empowered RAN and 5G RAN Architecture at Orange, where responsibilities include designing AI/ML modules for RAN performance optimization and reducing operational costs. As Co-Chair of the O-RAN Alliance Open Interfaces Working Group, contributions have led to the publication of specifications that enhance interoperability among 5G RAN elements. Prior roles include 5G RAN Architect and Research Engineer, with achievements such as creating an open-source mobile network and receiving best paper recognition at IEEE ISCC 2017. In academia, Yassin serves as a Computer Engineering Instructor at ENSTA Bretagne, teaching courses on IP routing and network architecture, and has held similar positions at Institut de Recherche en Informatique et Systèmes Aléatoires and Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
