Kate Montgomery is an experienced professional in the field of bioengineering, currently serving as the Director of Scientific Affairs at Enspectra Health, Inc. since November 2015. Kate completed a PhD in Bioengineering at Stanford University, where the thesis focused on optogenetic control of neurons beyond the brain. Prior experience includes roles at Stanford as a graduate student, and various volunteer and research positions at organizations such as Medical Bridges, the National Space Biomedical Research Institute, and MD Anderson Cancer Center. Educational credentials consist of a Bachelor of Science in Bioengineering from Rice University, followed by a Master's and Doctorate in Bioengineering from Stanford University.
