Mark Moya has extensive experience in the electrical engineering field. Mark began their career as an Electrical Supervisor for various contractors in New Mexico and Colorado, where they were responsible for designing and installing electrical systems for construction projects. In 2009, they joined Honeywell Technology Solutions, Inc. as a Senior Facilities Technician, where they managed electrical systems for the USAF Satellite Control Network Contract and supported Health Safety and Environmental (HSE) initiatives. Mark later became an Engineering Supervisor, providing technical consultation and training for power systems. In 2016, they joined KBRwyle as a Senior Electrical Engineer, overseeing projects for the United States Air Force Satellite Network Control Contract and supporting HSE efforts. Since 2017, Mark has been working at ENSCO, Inc. as a Staff Systems Engineer, primarily supporting the Satellite Network Space & Missile Systems Center. Mark'sresponsibilities include system safety, electrical power engineering, and ensuring system modifications meet requirements. Mark Moya has a diverse education history. Mark studied Electrical Trades at Central New Mexico Community College, focusing on Electrical and Power Transmission Installation/Installer. Additionally, Mark attended Crossroads Bible Institute to deepen their understanding of the Biblical Worldview. Mark also pursued Industrial Electronics and Electrical Maintenance Technology at the Penn Foster Group.
In addition to their formal education, Mark has obtained several certifications. Mark completed the ACQ 1700V Agile for DoD Acquisition Team Members course at the Defense Acquisition University in January 2021. Mark is also a NFPA70E CESCP-SME Advisory Group certified professional, having obtained this certification from NFPA in November 2016. Moreover, they have attended various training programs related to electrical safety, including Arc Flash & Shock Hazard Training for Qualified Electrical Workers from Salisbury Electrical Safety, LLC, Arc Flash Analysis Training from Oregon State University, and Design and Analysis of electrical power systems from EasyPower LLC. Mark is qualified in High Voltage and Low Voltage through e-Hazard. Furthermore, they have completed courses on NFPA 70B/Recommended Practices for Electrical Maintenance, NFPA 70E/Arc Flash Electrical Safety, and NFPA70E Electrical Safety in the Workplace, all provided by NFPA. Additionally, Mark has completed the OSHA 10 Hour - Electrical Industry and OSHA 10 Hour - General Industry courses from the US Department of Labor OSHA. Mark has also undertaken the OSHA - Electrical Standards Course. Lastly, Mark has completed the Train-the-Trainer Low and High Voltage Instructor Training offered by e-Hazard.
