Christof Mahieu has a total of four work experiences. Christof started as an Embedded software engineer at TASS Technology Solutions in August 2014 and worked there until October 2015. Christof then joined Ghent University as a Software Engineer in October 2015 and worked there until June 2019. After that, they worked at imec as a Software Engineer from June 2019 to November 2021. Currently, they are working as a Software Developer at eNovates, starting from November 2021.

Christof Mahieu attended Ghent University from 2008 to 2014, where they completed a Master of engineering degree in Computer Science - Embedded systems. Christof also obtained a Master of Science in Computer Science Engineering, with a field of study in Embedded Systems, during the same time period.
