Markku Sikström has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Markku is currently working as a Project Manager at Enmac Oy since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Valmet from 2014 to 2021, taking up roles such as Project Engineer, Proposal Engineer, and Spare Part Engineer. From 2013 to 2013, they worked as a Spare Part Engineer at Metso Power Oy. Markku also worked at Metso Minerals Oy from 2011 to 2013 as a Product Support Engineer. In addition, Markku had a short-term role as a Project Planner at Metso Paper Oy in 2011. Before that, they worked as a Production Planner and Supervisor at Metso Paper Oy in 2010. Markku started their career at Metso Paper Oy in 2009 as a Final Thesis Worker. Markku also gained valuable experience as a Trainee at UPM-Kymmene Co., Ltd., Changshu China in 2008.

Markku Sikström attended HAMK University of Applied Sciences from 2006 to 2010 where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Industrial Management and Engineering. In addition to their formal education, they also completed certifications in Leadership Coaching from Innotiimi-ICG Finland in March 2020 and Customer Service & Support Excellence from Mercuri International in February 2012.
