Yorke Z. is currently the Associate Director at Enlaza Therapeutics, having previously worked as a Principal Scientist at Synthorx Inc. Prior to that, Yorke was a Scientist at Scripps Research, where they led the development and optimization of the first semi-synthetic organism with an expanded genetic code. Before joining Scripps Research, Yorke worked as a FACS Supervisor at The Johns Hopkins University and as a Research Technologist in yeast genetics at the Wendland Lab. Yorke holds a PhD in Biology from Scripps Research and a BS in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering from The Johns Hopkins University.
