Carolyn DE Sousa is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in education, environmental advocacy, and charity work. As Co-Founder and CEO of Green Whale Foundation since March 2017, Carolyn has led initiatives aimed at fostering connections to nature through stand-up paddleboarding, promoting sustainable practices within communities. Carolyn also established Whale Bags Ltd. in 2007, creating organic cotton bags to combat plastic pollution after being inspired by the plight of marine life. Additional roles include private tutoring in core subjects for primary age children through Enjoy Education since May 2011 and teaching at Barrs Court Primary and Sir John Lillie Primary Schools from 2005 to 2010. Carolyn's military training as a 2nd Lieutenant in the British Army and educational background includes a BSc in Psychology from the University of Bristol and a PGCE in Primary Education from the University of the West of England.
