Lashan Silva began their career in 2011 as Co-Founder, CTO & Director at Extrogene (Pvt) Ltd. Lashan then moved to Ridgecrest Asia (Pvt) Ltd. in 2012, where they held the roles of Software Engineer and Trainee Software Engineer. In 2013, Silva became the Founder, CEO & Chief Architect of Enhanzer (pvt) Ltd.

Lashan Silva attended St.Aloysius College, Ratnapura from 2000 to 2008. From 2009 to 2013, they attended the University of Moratuwa, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology. In 2011, they attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's MIT GSL Summer Program, where they studied Entrepreneurship/Entrepreneurial Studies.
