Will Forrester is an accomplished professional in the field of literature and translation, currently serving as the Head of Literature Programmes and Translation and International Manager at English PEN since April 2019. In addition to these roles, Forrester is a Director on the board of Untold Narratives, provides expertise to the European Commission's Creative Europe initiative, and serves on the advisory board for Sinoist Books at Alain Charles Asia Publishing Ltd. From January 2024, Forrester will act as a judge for the 2024 US National Translation Award with the American Literary Translators Association. Other notable positions include consulting for various cultural organizations, editing non-fiction at Review 31, and serving as a judge for the TA First Translation Prize. Recognized as a Rising Star in 2023 by The Bookseller and an Emerging Leader by Clore Leadership in 2022, Forrester holds a Master’s degree in World Literatures in English and a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Oxford.
