Marco Antonio Saucedo has a wealth of experience in the engineering and procurement fields. Marco Antonio's career began in 2005 with an internship at CEMEX in the Planning, Commercial & Logistics department. In 2006, they joined CEMEX Deutschland AG as a Negotiations Leader for Central Procurement and a Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Projects & Engineering Negotiator. In 2008, they moved to CEMEX and became a Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) Projects & Procurement Negotiator and a Post-Merger Integration (PMI) Team member. From 2011 to 2014, they worked at the University of Cambridge as a Supervisor (Teaching Assistant) and a Post-doctoral Research Associate. In 2018, they joined Johnson Matthey as a Sr. Chemical Engineer / Implementation and, in 2019, they became the Director of Process Engineering at EnginZyme.
Marco Antonio Saucedo has a well-rounded educational background. Marco Antonio began their studies in 2000 at Tecnológico de Monterrey, where they earned a BSc (hons) in Chemical Engineering with a minor in Industrial Engineering in 2005. From 2003 to 2004, they participated in an Exchange Programme at Reutlingen University, studying Chemistry with Marketing and Production Management. In 2009, they earned a CPGS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cambridge and in 2010, they completed their PhD in Chemical Engineering from the same university.
