Ray Gosine

Ray Gosine is a distinguished academic with extensive experience in engineering and research. Currently serving as a Professor in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering at the University of Toronto and a Fellow at CIFAR in the Program on Innovation, Equity & the Future of Prosperity, Ray has a longstanding role as a Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Memorial University of Newfoundland since 1994, where responsibilities also included being Associate Vice-President (Research). Ray holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Engineering from the University of Cambridge and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Memorial University. Ray's leadership roles include Vice-President (Research), pro tempore at C-CORE, and participation as a Fellow in both Engineers Canada and The Canadian Academy of Engineering. Ray has also been a board member for several organizations, contributing to the advancement of engineering education and research ethics.
