Raashi Thakkar has a diverse work experience spanning various organizations and roles. In 2014, they worked as a Research Assistant at the University of North Texas, Institute of Applied Sciences. The following year, in 2015, they served as a Summer Research Intern at the University of Texas at Dallas. In 2016, Raashi had multiple roles including being a Partner at Black Lives Matter, where they implemented water filter solutions in homeless shelters to address the Flint Water Crisis and educated city officials. Raashi also worked as a Classroom Assistant & Mentor/Leader at The GEMS Camp during the same year. Raashi Thakkar began their education at Clark High School, where they studied from 2012 to 2014. After completing high school, they attended the Texas Academy of Mathematics and Science from 2014 to 2016. Raashi then continued their education at The University of Texas at Dallas, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Neuroscience and Political Science.
