Neal Potvin is a skilled Controls Engineer with extensive experience in custom automation equipment and a strong background in controls engineering. Currently at Engineering Specialists, Inc. since May 2020, Neal leads projects from concept design to acceptance testing and is adept in PLC and HMI programming across various platforms. Previously, Neal served as a Senior Systems Engineer at OakRiver Technology, managing system startups and providing design verification. Additional experience includes a Research Assistant role at the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where Neal conducted data analysis and hardware/software development, as well as technical positions at the City of Hartford and Server Products. Neal holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin.
