Chris Vail has been in the professional world since 2005, when they began their career as a Professional Hockey Player for the Toledo Walleye. In 2016, they joined Saratech as an Enterprise Account Executive, responsible for providing the full suite of Siemens PLM software products and services to manufacturing companies. In 2017, they became a Sr. Sales Manager (Net New) for KPIT's EPLM SBU. In 2018, they moved to Infor as an Sr. Account Manager for Automotive Manufacturing. Most recently, in 2020, they began their role as Vice President of Sales and Strategic Partnerships for Engineering Intent Corporation.

Chris Vail completed a Bachelor's Degree in the College of Fine, Performing and Communication Arts at Wayne State University from 2000 to 2008. Prior to that, they attended Lawrence Academy from 1996 to 1999. Additionally, they obtained a Siemens PLM Sales Rep Certificate in April 2016 and a Certificate of PLM Leadership from CIMdata in March 2016.
